Today Craig has been given a PICC Line (A Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter). PICC Lines are a form of prolonged intervenous therapy, in this case, it will be anti-fungal therapy. With this PICC Line inserted in his arm the doctors will have direct and easy access to his blood stream.
As of right now, it appears that the PICC Line will need to be in place for around 6-weeks.
Medicine is a miracle. A gift from God.
